Welcome to the Julia Richardson Vocal Studio!

WHAT I OFFER:

Private Voice Lessons both virtually & in person (depending on location & availability).

With a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree in Music Dance Theatre from BYU & over 10 years of industry performing, I created this studio because I truly LOVE to teach. Six years later, I’ve taught over 50 young singers across the country and am still accepting new students.

It’s my goal to help singers build their confidence through a healthy foundation in Classical Voice. Together, we’ll figure out how to make singing feel easy, form healthy singing habits, address any tension and solidify your posture & technique. I pride myself in my versatility and offer coaching in a variety of styles: Musical Theatre, Belt, Mix, Pop, Rock & Legit/Classical. I’ll help you discover your most confident & healthy vocal sound in whatever style you chose!

HOW IT WORKS:

I usually prefer to get to know you in person for our first lesson, then we can switch to virtual each week, but depending on your location, we can also start virtually. Usually Zoom or FaceTime are my preferred platforms for virtual lessons.

For our first lesson, please prepare a short one minute cut of a song you love to sing so I can asses your starting point and we can begin our journey together toward your singing goals! After our first meeting, you will be sent individually tailored pre-recorded piano tracks of our warm-ups for you to practice with & sing along to for future lessons.

I always suggest an hour lesson if you want to see faster progress, but I offer shorter 30 minute lessons as a way to make lessons more accessible to people starting out!

PLEASE NOTE: I do have a personal collection of sheet music & tracks I will pull from for certain songs, but for any new material Students are financially responsible for the purchase of their own sheet music & tracks.

I accept Venmo, CashApp, PayPal, and Cash/Checks. If you need to reschedule, please try to give me at least 24 hours notice and I will try to accommodate you. I am always available via my cell phone if last minute emergencies arise. No Shows without any communication will result in no refund.
